What You’ll Do
As an Experienced Tax Preparer, you’ll use your tax knowledge and people skills to:
- Prepare accurate individual federal and state tax returns
- Conduct one-on-one client tax interviews
- Identify applicable credits, deductions, and tax-saving opportunities
- Build relationships that keep clients coming back
- Deliver an exceptional client experience
- Stay current through ongoing tax education and training
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ tax seasons of hands-on experience working in a professional tax office
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confidence working directly with clients
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Dependability, attention to detail, and willingness to continue learning
- Experience in tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or customer service is a plus.
Experienced Tax Pro Qualification:
This position requires candidates to successfully pass a tax knowledge assessment to demonstrate proficiency for the Experienced Tax Pro role. Not quite ready for the assessment or don’t meet the experience requirements? We still want to hear from you!
